Established in 1686, the Palace of Versailles Orangery is home to over 900 plants from that time. Oranges and lemons combine wonderfully with chocolate and their flavours have often been put together. Maison Bonange revisits this incredible blend by scattering organic citrus fruit crystals throughout the chocolate bars. When you taste it, the fl avour starts off with the fullness of cocoa followed by a fusion of bitterness and sweetness. Use of a genuine “Toile de Jouy” (fabric from Jouy) coming from the royal factory located near of the Palace of Versailles. It is the Ornament associated to the Court of Versailles, to the Kings and Queens.
The chocolate comes from Peru and the Dominican Republic. Only pure cocoa butter is used and it is free of preservatives / palm oil. It is available in dark and milk (70% and 45%). All packaging is PEFC and FSC certified. Maison Bonange places great emphasis on an ecological policy (waste limitation, selected sorting, plan to limit the use of plastic, recycling at all levels, etc...).
